District 7 families, educators, and students deserve strong schools led by steady, thoughtful leadership.

Danielle Huggins is running for School Board because families want stability, transparency, and schools that stay focused on learning—not confusion or distraction. As a lifelong Memphian and current educator, Danielle understands what students and educators need to thrive during times of change.

This campaign is about restoring trust, strengthening schools, and leading with clarity and calm when it matters most.

About Danielle Huggins

Educator • Advocate • Community-Rooted Leader

Danielle Huggins’ leadership is rooted in lived experience and a deep connection to the community she serves. As a lifelong Memphian and educator, she understands the realities facing District 7 families because she has walked alongside them—as a student in local schools, a teacher in local classrooms, and a community leader working to bring people together around shared goals. Her approach to leadership is steady, collaborative, and grounded in listening first.

 

Danielle believes strong schools are built when leaders value clear communication, support educators, and stay focused on students. The experience below reflects her commitment to serving with clarity, consistency, and respect for the community that shaped her.

    Cornerstone Prep – Knight Road | Current
    Provides individualized instruction and advocacy for students with diverse learning needs, working closely with families, support staff, and administrators to ensure students receive appropriate services and supports.

  • Fourth Grade Teacher
    Winchester Elementary School | 2022–2025
    Taught and supported elementary students during a critical stage of academic and social development. Collaborated with fellow educators and families, gaining firsthand insight into how district policies and school board decisions affect classrooms, teachers, and students.

    Northwestern Mutual
    Developed experience in financial planning, operations, and organizational management, strengthening skills in accountability, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.

She is running to bring clarity, accountability, and collaboration to the board—so District 7 schools can be safe, strong, and centered on learning.
